A Ho-Hum Day

Some days there just isn't much to tell around here or at least not much that's fit to print! Today was one such day. Just a regular day full of regular things. A day full of trying to train little hearts to go in the right direction and even fuller of me recognizing that I can't do it on my own. How do people parent without the Lord's help? Honestly, I want to know. Some days I try to strike out on my own and wind up so miserable at the end of the day that I can't understand why someone would try to go on their own everyday. At the end of today, I found myself watching the clock to see how much longer before I could put them to bed and wondered if 4:30 was really too early to call it a day. I mean, it's 7:30 on the east coast so if we were there it would only be about 30 minutes before bedtime. But alas, I remind myself, if I put them to bed on east coast time, they'll be up at east coast time which translates to somewhere around 2:30 or 3:00 and I want that even less! So, at the end of the day, I say thank you Lord that we made it through and good night!
