Jesus Loves Me

It is such a blessing to parent these three little girls that the Lord has so graciously given us. As we rode down to Bellingham this evening, Sarah Grace started singing "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" all on her own. Later, both she and Lainey sang "Jesus Loves Me". It thrills my soul to hear them singing hymns together. Just the other day at lunch, they sat across from each other singing "His Name is Wonderful". Sarah Grace's version goes a little like this "His name is wunnerful, His name is wunnerful, His name is wunnerful, Jesus my Lord. He is a mighta King, masser of everthing, His name is wunnerful, Jesus my Lord. He is a mighta King, masser of everthing, His name is wunnerful, Jesus my Lord." It makes my heart smile and I suspect the Lord takes delight in it as well. What a blessing to hear these sweet little voices singing praises to God. As we read a Bible story about Jesus the other night, Sarah Grace asked "What's a Savior?" Just tonight, Lainey asked "Why did Jesus have to die?" What a privilege we have to tell them about who Jesus is and pray that they would love Him as He loves them. I just pray that the Lord would give us wisdom and walk with us as we seek to teach these sweet little girls all about who He is!
