We have entered the parading season here in Northwest Washington. Today we went to the Discovery Days parade in Birch Bay. After the parade, we walked further into town to see the crafts and such. The girls enjoyed it all and were excited about the candy they got from folks in the parade. I suppose we should teach them that parades are the only time it's really okay to accept candy from strangers because it really would be rude to pick the candy up and throw it back.

Later this afternoon, Lon went outside to play with the girls and ended up playing a game with the hose and some buckets. I'm not sure how all that came to pass; I only know that they all had a great time!
