A Glad Heart

Something I meant to include in yesterday's blog, but didn't because I was so tired and my thoughts weren't coming together very quickly, was the fact that being in Children's Hospital and seeing children that were genuinely very sick made me very, very, very grateful for my own who are in extremely good health. While we were waiting I saw a little girl go by who couldn't have been much older than Abby who was obviously quite ill and had 2 IV's going along with her. I just had to stop and thank God that our girls are all well in spite of our having done nothing to deserve such. You know, there's no reason aside from God's grace that we don't have to face the trial of having a sick child. It just made me appreciate mine a little bit more. That's not to say they didn't drive me crazy today, particularly when Lainey and Sarah Grace were bickering back and forth over who had a certain horse first, but still I suppose I should be glad they're well enough to bicker (though I must say I'm not really in that "glad place" yet).
