Upside Down World

Regarding my dream of my children becoming "globe masters" that I mentioned last night: it's already coming true. Lainey got the globe out this morning and then said she wanted to show me something. I came over to see what she was doing, she pointed and said, "Mongolia." I said, "Yes, that's right, how did you know that?" She said, "I just did. I sounded it out." We were pointing out different things on the globe and I showed her Antarctica; she said, "Don't the people fall off down there?" Good question, because in her mind, if it's upside down on the globe the people must be walking around upside down. It made me smile. I do love the mind of a five year old!
