Off We Go!

The girls and I went to see our good friend Jana and her three boys today. There was lots of running and playing and laughing and I think they all had a good time. When I told Lainey we were going this morning, she asked if she could take some of her dress up clothes; I tried to explain that little boys don't dress up like princesses like little girls do and that they could play with Legos or cars today. She seemed satisfied. She did get to dress up though; Josiah dressed up as a Power Ranger and Lainey was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle complete with shell! It wasn't Cinderella but she was still cute. We walked over to their neighbor's house to see some young kittens and as Sarah Grace said, "They're very very cute." She did try to hold one's face down into the water as he was trying to drink and also tried to pick another up by his head, but still she appreciated the cute factor. We'll add "How to Handle Baby Animals" to our list of skills we need to learn!
