Lainey got a belated birthday present in the mail today-some sidewalk chalk! Both she and Sarah Grace had a great time drawing with it on our sidewalk and driveway. Lainey wrote out all her ABC's and wrote her numbers from 1-20; I love it-she's learning and doesn't even know it! I love just sneaking education in on them! The three of us made some banana bread today and in the process worked on reading and math and had a pretty good snack to show for it in the end.
Sometimes we see some pretty strange and funny things in our house. We never know what we might find when we turn the corner to walk down the hall. This has to be one of the strangest and funniest things we've seen lately:
I think they might be offering Milky as a sacrifice. They've got their drink offering as well and have taken off their shoes because, well, I guess they think they're on holy ground. Who knows? I just know it made me laugh when I walked down the hall and discovered it!
